Since December 28 I am sitting here in Frankonia Forest my grandma (daddy`s), she`s 88 years old. My parents are visiting the new relatives from my big brother Andrew, who married in August Fancy, a nice girl from Shanghai/China.
The weather is really cold (at night 19° F), who know`s me a little bit, know`s that`s the perfect weather for my favorite hobby, Icehockey! So I had a lot of fun the last day`s and I am still alive...
Silke and Finn are still staying in Dorsten :-( at the Ruhr Area, unfortunately (for me, not for Silke`s parents). So I will celebrate the new year with my grandma, maybe I will do the same like she at night - sleeping.
2009 - I am so exciting what`s going on their, we have lot of plans and it looks really interesting for us. Next year at this time we will have booked the flight to Alaska (over Abingdon of course). But I guess for you it is the same, everybody has some plans and goals (hopefully).

Seit dem 28. December pass` ich auf meine Oma im Frankenwald auf, sie ist 88 Jahre alt. Meine Eltern besuchen die neue Verwandtschaft von meinem grossen (kein scharf "S" auf der Schweizer Tastatur) Bruder Andreas, der im August Fancy geheiratet ein nettes Mädchen aus Shanghai/China.
Das Wetter ist kalt (-7°C) und wer mich ein bisschen kennt weiss, das ist das perfekte Wetter für mein Lieblingshobby - Eishockey. Wir (man findet schnell ein paar Gleichgesinnte) hatten eine Menge Spass die letzten Tage... und ich bin immer noch am Leben.
Silke und Finn sind noch in Dorsten bei Silkes Eltern, dass ist natürlich schade (für mich). So werde ich Silvester mit Oma feiern und vielleicht dasselbe tun wie sie um 24 Uhr, schlummern.
2009 - ich bin sehr gespannt was da so geht. Wir haben einige Pläne und es sieht sehr interessant für uns aus. Nächste Woche fangen wir bei der Deutschen Missionsgemeinschaft (DMG) in Sinsheim an und nächstes Jahr um die Zeit haben wir hoffentlich schon die Flüge nach Alaska gebucht. Aber ich schätze, auch du hast Pläne und Ziele im nächsten Jahr und es wird wieder spannend. Wir wünschen dir alles Gute und vor allem Gottes prallen Segen für 2009.

Supper job. Kann ich Dir ab und zu mal Hilfestellung, diesbezueglich Deinem Englisch geben? Du machst das ganz toll mit Deinem Englisch. Ab und zu verstellst Du was und vergisst das s mit dem komma fuer die Plural - Mehrzahl. Ist vielleicht nicht so schlimm, macht aber trotzdem viel aus . Wuensche Euch Hornfischern alles Gute .
